The Night Sky - 45 minute STAR TOUR

DAY TIME
Explore the night sky with Astronomer and Adventurer Huw James. In this interactive talk we take a virtual walk through our solar system and in to the depths of space with this guided virtual planetarium tour. Learn about the planets and their potential for missions and for harbouring life and see our solar system in a whole new light.

NIGHT TIME
With the aid of telescopes and binoculars, take a guided tour around the night with the myths and star-lore around the constellations and visiting some of the most well-known patterns in the night sky. With close up views through a 10” telescope and smaller scopes too, we pick the best objects for viewing on the night and hope for clear skies!

AGE RANGE

Talk suitable for age 11+, KS3, KS4 and families

RUNNING TIME

40-60 minutes. Please allow 30 minutes for set-up time and between 15 minutes for take-down.
